I have had the great honor to be asked to guest post on the official Cost Plus World Market site with not one but four awesome Christmas recipes!!
First up – Christmas Spiced Mulled Wine
I am CONVINCED if Christmas could be concentrated into one flavor – mulled wine is it. One taste and you think ” that is what Christmas tastes like!! Recipe and details HERE
Second recipe I made for World Market are some fun and delicious cake pops!!
Cake pops are a lot of work, but so worth it in the end because they come out so cute! I took a red velvet cake recipe and made it more Christmassy with molasses, cinnamon and clove. Recipe and directions HERE
Next up – Linzer Cookies. I think Christmas just isn’t Christmas without Linzer Cookies. It is something I grew up with and I knew I wanted to make them. Especially with some of the delicious jams from World Market
They are an almond cookie filled with 4 different kinds of jams and dusted with powdered sugar. Recipe and Directions HERE
AND last but not least, my personal fave. A big giant fun fancy Christmas layer cake. I do one every year and I was stoked to be able to make one for World Market’s blog, Discover.
Thanks to World Market, my cake stand collection is growing and growing. How CUTE is that red scalloped edge stand? This Peppermint Mocha Cake with Vanilla Buttercream looks fancy but it is so easy to make. And it makes for an impressive centerpiece on any Christmas dessert table. Recipe and directions HERE
