9 Ladies Dancing - Individual Cranberry Orange Ladyfinger Cakes

I made these Individual Cranberry Orange Ladyfinger Cakes for Cost Plus World Market's 12 Days of Baking With World Market recipes and sweepstakes. This post is sponsored by Cost Plus World Market on behalf of their blog, Discover.

Out of all the recipes I create for Cost Plus World Market all year long I look forward to the Christmas Baking recipes. I have so much fun creating and styling these recipes, mostly because I am a huge fan of their Christmas/Holiday entertaining items such as linens, serve, drinking and dining ware. I also love all the different Christmas items to use as props such as snowflake garlands, twinkle lights and snowflakes. As much as I love summer and all things hot, Cost Plus World Market has gotten me to embrace Christmas time more than I ever have before.

Last Christmas I got to create several international holiday desserts such as a French Buche De Noel aka Yule Log cake and German Lebkuchen cookies. I was excited to see that this year's baking them is a play on the 12 Days of Christmas song. 12 bloggers were chosen for each of the 12 days, and I was given day nine, " 9 ladies dancing". I immediately knew I wanted to make a decadent dessert with Italian Ladyfingers. I was thinking most of the other bloggers would be making cookies and cakes for this dessert theme, and since ladyfinger cookies are typically used in tiramisu and charlottes, which are both a type of cake like dessert,  so I went for a version of mini charlottes with this dessert.

These individual cranberry orange ladyfinger cakes are more assembly than baking. In fact no baking is required, just making the cranberry orange mousse filling is the only cooking. The rest is some food processing, melting of chocolate and assembly. FULL step by step directions and the recipe are on Discover, A blog by World Market. Click Discover to head over there. Don't let these intimidate you at all. They are so much fun to make, the  mousse is amazingly delicious and they are a fun dessert to share!

I did say sweepstakes earlier in the post and here are the details!

Hi, this is an old recipe I've been meaning to remake. It is unfortunate that World Market deleted all the recipes that were contributed to them. I will try to find it in my files and email to you
