POG Mojitos (Passion-Orange-Guava) My favorite Hawaiian juice made into a refreshing tropical cocktail. www.pineappleandcoconut.com Makes 4 large cocktails
Cuisine Hawaiian
Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 2-3 limes sliced
  • 4 teaspoon Lime juice
  • 4 teaspoon Simple syrup or granulated organic sugar
  • 1 bunch Fresh Mint
  • 1 cup Coconut Rum
  • 1 can POG Pas-O-Guava Juice
  • 1 can Coconut La Croix flavored sparkling water or club soda
  • ice

Instructions

  • In 4 large pint glasses divide the a few lime slices, the lime juice, simple syrup or sugar and a few pieces of mint and muddle. Top with ice, layering a few slices of lime and more mint leaves if desired. Add the coconut rum and POG to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into the cocktails and top with coconut La Croix flavored water. Serve immediately.

Notes

Traditional mojitos are made with granulated sugar. I tend to find the granulated sugar doesn’t dissolved as well so I use simple syrup. I don’t use a ton since the juice is sweet.
POG can be found in international markets in Hawaiian sections, any Hawaiian grocery or on Amazon.
If you prefer plain soda water use that instead but the subtle flavor of the La Croix coconut water really makes this drink that much more awesome.
